This volume was written by Bruce Clark, Claytonian, Michael Jones, Paul LoCastro, Doyle Wayne Ramos-Tavener, Christopher Wood, and Jon Hershberger. Illustrations were provided by Doug Kovacs, Marc Radle, William McAusland, Todd McGowan, Aileen Snyder, and Carla Stroh.

Disclosure: I am listed as a proofreader on this volume.

Although listed as "Volume 5 of Five Booklets", there are actually six volumes in the 2015 release of The Gongfarmer's Almanac.

This volume is comprised of two longer pieces. Let's look inside.

The Gongfarmer’s Almanac: This article, by Doyle Wayne Ramos-Tavener, provides a calendar for use with your Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign. But that is not all, because both Wizard and Cleric spell checks can be affected by the days upon which the spells are cast. This "reflects the favorable (or unfavorable) position of the stars vis-à-vis the use of magic." Omens, stellar events, and holidays or listed, and the judge may award modifications based on birth augurs and the position of the stars. Even if you choose not to use it as-is, it offers an excellent template for a campaign milieu calendar of your own design!

Master Zine Index: This is a listing of every adventure, gadget, magic item, monster, NPC, Patron, PC class or race, ritual, spell, and more in the Dungeon Crawl Classics zines available at the time of publication: Black Powder, Black Magic; Crawl!; Crawling Under a Broken Moon; Crawljammer; D.A.M.N.!, Dungeon Lord; The Gongfarmer's Almanac; Metal Gods of Ur-Hadad; and Prayers of the Forgotten. The Weird Worm-Ways of Saturn was also included in this mighty undertaking!
